## Which funnel tools skip the card, and which ones refund

A card on file can be charged when the trial ends. Many refund windows cover only the opening payment.

Eight tools, from each vendor's own pages

By [Marta Ovalle](/authors/marta-ovalle), reviewed by [Funnel Critic Editorial](/authors/funnel-desk-editorial). Updated 22 October 2026.

A signup the week before a sale is easy to forget. The trial ends, the card is charged, and the written guarantee may cover only that initial payment. Some paid plans publish no refund at all.

Adjust the filters for the number of days you are willing to risk. The table below lists the same eight tools, and each cell comes from that company's pricing page or its terms. If one of them is a tool you would actually use, open its pricing guide. The bill after the trial belongs in the [funnel tool cost calculator](/best/funnel-tool-cost-calculator-what-each-platform-costs-at-your-size).

### Where each cell comes from

Every number comes from the company's own page, as that page stood on 17 October 2026\. The number of days before you are charged is the number written there. The refund period is taken from that same page. We read each vendor's pricing and terms pages, plus the public replies named below. The [methodology](/methodology) page describes that process. No one on our team went through a checkout. Support can enforce a stricter reading than the sentence on the page. If the page never mentions a card or a refund, that is what the cell shows.

The number under the form shows how many tools in the table match the filters you set. It does not start a trial, and it does not file a refund for you.

### A free trial with no credit card

Leave the refund field at 0 if you only care about the days before you pay. Enter 1 or higher if you need a published refund period.

No card for the trial or the free signup

Trial of at least this many days

Type 14 for the case below. Type 0 to ignore length.

Count a free plan that does not expire

Systeme.io's free plan has no end date, so a day minimum skips it unless this box is on.

Money-back window of at least this many days

Type 0 to ignore refunds. Type 30 to keep only the longer windows.

Show matching tools

3 tools match.

* [Unbounce](/reviews/unbounce/pricing). No card. Its row lists how many days you get.
* [Systeme.io](/reviews/systeme-io/pricing). Free plan with no expiry, and no card.
* [ElasticFunnels](/reviews/elasticfunnels/pricing). No card, with a refund on the first paid subscription.

### The eight tools, side by side

An outlined card means you can start without a credit card. A teal arrow marks a published refund period.

[GoHighLevel's pricing page](https://www.gohighlevel.com/pricing) says billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and usage-based fees for telecommunications or third-party services may apply during the trial. The [GoHighLevel pricing guide](/reviews/gohighlevel/pricing) has the plan cards.

[Systeme.io](https://systeme.io/pricing) says the free plan never expires and does not require a card. [Its terms](https://systeme.io/terms-and-conditions) say paid subscription plans are not refundable.

Kajabi's terms state how long you can try the product. Those terms do not describe every signup screen. Kartra's trial takes a card, which the [Kartra pricing guide](/reviews/kartra/pricing) records, while the plans page is where the free days and the guarantee are written. ClickFunnels never says whether signup collects a card. The pricing FAQ describes the guarantee. The signup flow shows the short trial. Neither one says whether a card is required.

### Trial, guarantee, or cancel only

Days before you pay, money returned after you pay, or a bill you can cancel without getting the fee back.

A trial is time on the product before the subscription charge. [Unbounce](https://unbounce.com/pricing/) is the clear case: full access to the plan you pick, and no card during that period. You are not owed a refund later, because you have not paid yet.

A guarantee is a promise to return money after a charge. [Kajabi's terms](https://www.kajabi.com/policies/terms) offer a full refund of the opening payment, inside the window on its row, and they require a payment method on file for ongoing fees. That window stops at the opening payment. A later renewal is billed on its own.

Cancel-only means you can stop the next invoice, and the fee already paid stays with the company. [Unbounce's terms](https://unbounce.com/terms-of-service/) call monthly subscription fees strictly non-refundable. Systeme.io's paid plans work the same way. A note under the table quotes the line from its terms.

### No card, then a real campaign

The form starts with the settings I would use before a busy sales week: no card, at least 14 days, and the box for a free plan that never expires turned on. Unbounce, Systeme.io and ElasticFunnels are the three that match. Each one makes a different promise. Unbounce's paid months are non-refundable once you subscribe. You can use Systeme.io's free plan without a card. Once you pay, those plans fall into the cancel-only group above. ElasticFunnels refunds a new customer's first paid subscription within the window on its row. [Its pricing page](https://elasticfunnels.io/pricing) says you can start the trial without a card.

ElasticFunnels is newer than the platforms it competes with, and there is very little independent review coverage to check its claims against. Until you run real volume through it, you are largely taking the vendor's word for it. The day count and the refund period on its row come from ElasticFunnels' own pages. Few independent reviews exist, so anything past those pages is the vendor's account of the product.

Those three are where I would start if I wanted to avoid putting a card down. I would still read the refund column before I committed to one. A no-card start and a refund after you pay answer different worries. For a platform with few independent reviews, I would run a live campaign before I trusted a claim the refund page leaves unstated. The [six-question picker](/best/which-funnel-tool-fits-you-a-6-question-picker) is the next step when you care about what the tool does for the work, and these signup terms are already settled.

### What the public replies add

[ClickFunnels](https://www.clickfunnels.com/pricing) states the guarantee on its pricing FAQ: cancel inside that window with no penalty or fee. I would treat that sentence as the policy. A renewal past that window is outside what the FAQ promises. Plan limits are in the [ClickFunnels pricing guide](/reviews/clickfunnels/pricing).

Leadpages is the row where public replies and the live offer part ways. Some Trustpilot replies still mention a longer trial than the current offer shows. Other replies there describe a refund of the payment that started the account. [Leadpages](https://www.leadpages.com/pricing) shows the short trial that takes a card, and it never mentions that refund. I would base my decision on that current offer. The older replies are a poor guide. The [Leadpages pricing guide](/reviews/leadpages/pricing) sticks to the current plan cards.

A note under the table covers phone and third-party fees during a GoHighLevel trial. A credit card is required, the subscription bills unless you cancel, and those fees can land while the trial is still open. GoHighLevel publishes no guarantee on that offer.

### Frequently asked questions

Which funnel builders offer a free trial with no credit card?

Tick the card box and set the day field to the length you need. Turn on the free-plan box if a plan that never expires should count. The names that match show in the result under the form.

Which funnel builders publish a money-back guarantee?

Type 1 in the refund field to keep every row that prints a window. A higher number keeps only the longer windows. Rows with no published window drop out.

What is the ClickFunnels refund policy?

The pricing FAQ offers to cancel a paid membership inside the window on its row, with no penalty or fee. The self-serve path before that charge is the shorter signup on the same row. Plan limits sit in the ClickFunnels pricing guide.

What is the Kartra refund policy?

The plans page lists free days on paid plans and advertises a risk-free guarantee. The Kartra row uses that free-days figure. The pricing guide has the plan cards.

Does GoHighLevel have a free trial?

Yes. You get the tier you chose, then the subscription bills unless you cancel. That row is also the one that can meter phone and outside services before the trial ends, and GoHighLevel publishes no guarantee. The pricing guide covers the plans.

What is the Leadpages refund policy?

Use the Leadpages row for the live trial. Some Trustpilot replies still describe a longer trial than that row, and other replies there describe a refund of the payment that started the account. The live offer does not mention that refund. The pricing guide has the current plans.

### Changelog

* 22 October 2026. Finder published. The days before you are billed, whether a card is required, and the refund period come from each vendor's pricing or terms page as it stood on 17 October 2026.
