8 tools, plan limits read 13 October 2026

Three funnel tools can show the same price on their pricing pages and still bill you three different amounts, because one meters contacts, one meters page views and one meters the client accounts you manage. The sticker price tells you what the smallest customer pays. This calculator tells you what you would pay.

It is an estimate. It reads the plan limits each vendor publishes, picks the cheapest plan that fits your numbers and adds any published overage or cut of sales. It leaves out taxes, card processing and anything billed per use that a vendor does not price on its own page, such as GoHighLevel's text and call charges.

Work out your monthly cost

Leave a field at zero if it does not apply to you. Whole numbers only.

Your estimate appears here once the page has loaded. If it does not, the worked example further down shows the same calculation for a sample business.

What sets the price on each platform

These eight bills are set by four measures of usage, and most tools count only one of them.

Three gauge dials joined by pipes that merge into a single stack of coins, standing for contacts, traffic and sub-accounts adding up to one monthly bill.

Contacts. Systeme.io, ClickFunnels, Kartra and Kajabi move you up a tier as your list grows. ClickFunnels adds a second cap on email sends, so a business that mails 8,000 people twice a week outgrows its first plan on sends long before contacts.

Traffic. Unbounce counts unique visitors and ElasticFunnels counts page views. The difference matters for funnels, because a visitor who loads three pages counts once on a visitor meter and three times on a page-view meter.

Features. Leadpages charges for what the plan can do. Grow includes unlimited traffic, so the only reason to pay more is a feature such as Smart Traffic.

Client accounts. GoHighLevel prices by how many businesses you run inside it and gives unlimited contacts and users. Its pricing page says plainly that telecommunications and AI usage cost extra, which is why agencies on it budget a second, variable line.

ToolWhat moves the billWhere the plan steps upFree plan
ClickFunnels Contacts and email sends 10K contacts and 50K sends a month on Launch, then 75K and 300K on Scale No
ElasticFunnels Page views 50K, 250K or 500K a month, overage billed per 1,000 No (14-day trial, no card)
GoHighLevel Client sub-accounts, plus usage 3 sub-accounts, then unlimited. SMS, calls and AI billed by use No
Kajabi Contacts 2,500, 25,000 or 100,000, plus 25,000-contact blocks No
Kartra Contacts 500, 2,500, 12,500 or 25,000. Essentials takes 5% of sales No
Leadpages Features, not traffic Unlimited traffic on Grow. Publish-only tiers have no A/B testing No
Systeme.io Contacts 2,000 free, then 5,000, 10,000 and unlimited Yes, up to 2,000 contacts
Unbounce Monthly unique visitors 500, 20K, 30K or 50K visitors a month No

A worked example: one business, eight bills

Take a course seller with 8,000 contacts who sends 60,000 marketing emails a month, gets 25,000 visitors and 40,000 page views, runs one brand with two people on the team, wants A/B tests and takes $10,000 a month through the funnel tool's checkout. These are the form's default values, billed monthly.

  • Systeme.io lands on Webinar at $47, since 8,000 contacts fit under its 10,000 cap and it takes no cut of sales.
  • Leadpages stays on Grow at $67 whatever the traffic does.
  • GoHighLevel bills Starter at $97 for one client account, before any texts or calls.
  • ElasticFunnels stays on Starter because 40,000 page views sit under its allowance. Its 0.5% fee on the $10,000 taken through its own checkout adds $50, which brings the total to $147.
  • Unbounce needs Experiment at $149: Build covers 20,000 visitors and one user, and has no A/B testing.
  • ClickFunnels' Launch plan has room for the contacts, but 60,000 sends go over its 50,000 cap, so the bill is Scale at $197.
  • Kartra jumps to Growth at $229, because its Starter tier stops at 2,500 contacts.
  • Kajabi comes out at $249 on Growth. Basic plus one 25,000-contact block would cost $304, so the higher plan is cheaper.

The same list size lands on five different tiers across eight tools. Two of the three tools that share an entry price end up $100 apart, and the gap comes from email sends, not from anything on the landing page. Change one number in the form and the order can flip: drop sends to 40,000 and ClickFunnels falls back to its entry plan.

My take: price the tier you will reach in six months. For a list-heavy business that mails often, the numbers to watch are sends and contacts. For a paid-traffic funnel with a modest list, traffic is the meter, and contact-priced tools can look expensive for no reason you will feel.

ClickFunnels vs GoHighLevel: which costs less

Pick GoHighLevel if you run several client businesses and can budget for text and call usage on top; pick ClickFunnels if your list and monthly sends fit its first plan and you want a bill with no usage meter.

The two list the same entry price and cap opposite things. ClickFunnels limits contacts, email sends, workspaces and seats, so a growing list is what pushes you to Scale. GoHighLevel gives unlimited contacts and users and limits client sub-accounts instead: a fourth client moves an agency to Unlimited. Long-term users in public threads tend to report that ClickFunnels gets dearer once they bolt on a separate CRM, while GoHighLevel users have its usage charges to plan for.

For a single brand with a small list, ClickFunnels' total is the more predictable of the two. For an agency, GoHighLevel's per-client price falls with every account added. The full feature-by-feature reading is in our GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels comparison, and the tier detail sits in the ClickFunnels pricing guide and the GoHighLevel pricing guide.

When page-view billing works in your favour

ElasticFunnels is a funnel platform for teams running paid traffic. It keeps the pages, same-URL split testing, checkout, CRM and attribution on one data layer, and every feature is on every plan. The plans differ only by usage limits, chiefly page views. Go over the allowance and you pay $1.20 per 1,000 extra page views on Starter instead of being forced to upgrade. Bot and datacenter traffic is not counted.

That suits a business with a large list and a moderate amount of traffic, since list size never changes the bill. A buyer sending 200,000 page views a month to one offer will find a contact-priced tool cheaper, and the calculator shows where that line falls for you.

The drawback: it is newer than the platforms it competes with, and very little independent review coverage exists to check its claims against, so until you put real volume through it you are mostly taking the vendor's word. Its team has been building it since 2023, and the 14-day trial asks for no card, which leaves time to send real traffic before paying.

Each tier's allowances and fees are laid out in ElasticFunnels plans and limits.

How the estimate is calculated

For each tool the script checks every public plan against your numbers, drops any plan whose contact, send, visitor, seat or client-account cap you exceed, adds published overage (ElasticFunnels page views, Kajabi contact blocks) and any percentage of sales (Kartra Essentials, ElasticFunnels' own checkout), and keeps the cheapest result. Yearly figures are each vendor's yearly price divided by twelve. The list is sorted by that estimate and is not a ranking. Our methodology page explains how we evaluate pricing in our reviews.

Every cap and price comes from the vendor's own pricing page:

Not modeled: Unbounce overage (no published rate), GoHighLevel usage, metered email beyond the ClickFunnels caps, and the Agency Pro and custom enterprise plans.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a funnel builder cost?
Nothing, if a free plan covers your list: Systeme.io stays free up to 2,000 contacts. Paid entry plans in this set run from about $20 for a publish-only landing page tool to $179 for Kajabi. The tiers a growing business moves to next run from about $100 to $549 a month, the top public Kartra plan.
Why can two tools with the same entry price end up far apart?
Each one counts something different. A tool capped on email sends jumps a tier when you mail your list weekly, while one capped on client accounts does not care how many contacts you hold. Put your own numbers in the form and the gap shows up straight away.
Does the calculator include GoHighLevel's SMS and call charges?
No. GoHighLevel bills text messages, calls, email sending and AI features by use on top of the plan, and the cost depends on your volume and carrier rates, so the figure shown is the subscription floor.
Is yearly billing worth it?
If you are sure of the tool, usually. Switch the billing option to yearly and the calculator shows each vendor's yearly price as a monthly figure, which works out roughly 12 to 25 percent lower depending on the vendor.
Are taxes and payment processing included?
No. The estimate covers subscriptions, published overage and platform fees on your sales. Stripe or PayPal processing, sales tax and VAT come on top wherever you sell.
