Best SamCart alternatives (2026)
The right replacement depends on whether you are leaving over price, over email, or because you only needed a landing page.
People keep SamCart for the hosted checkout. They look elsewhere when order bumps and one-click upsells are only on Pro, when they still need email, or when they want a plan that is free to start. I would start with Systeme.io if the monthly bill is the reason you are leaving, and with Kartra if you still need email in the same account.
For a checkout compared with another checkout, read SamCart vs ThriveCart. The five tools below already have reviews on this site.
| Tool | Best reason to switch | Free plan |
|---|---|---|
| Systeme.io | A free plan when the SamCart subscription costs too much | Yes |
| Kartra | Pages, email and checkout in one account | No |
| ClickFunnels | A multi-step launch in the same account as the page | No |
| Kajabi | Courses and memberships are the main product | No |
| Leadpages | A landing page, with payment handled in another tool | No |
Quick answer
Pick Systeme.io if you need to start for free. Pick Kartra or Kajabi if you are buying email and a course library. Pick ClickFunnels if the launch is a sequence of steps. Stay on SamCart Pro if a hosted checkout is what you need and you are willing to pay for order bumps.
If you are still deciding whether to stay, the prices are on SamCart plan fees.
1. Systeme.io: best SamCart alternative for a plan that costs nothing to start
Systeme.io is the one to open when SamCart's subscription is the problem and the offer is still small. It has a free plan. SamCart's pricing page does not. The editor is simpler, and that is what you give up for the free start.
What the free plan limits, and what the paid plans add, is in the Systeme.io review and on Systeme.io pricing. A paid checkout makes more sense once order bumps bring in more than Pro costs.
2. Kartra: best SamCart alternative when email has to live with the checkout
Read the Kartra review if you want pages, email, checkout and memberships in one account. SamCart's pages sell the checkout, the course area and the Pro tools. They do not present a full email platform. If the email sequence is what you run every week, Kartra is the closer match.
Kartra's Essentials row on this site lists a 5% fee on sales. SamCart's plans guide does not add a platform percentage on SamPay. You can see Kartra's tiers on Kartra pricing, and the detailed write-up is the Kartra review. Kartra vs SamCart compares Kartra's pages, email and checkout with SamCart's checkout. If Kartra is the tool you might leave, use Kartra alternatives.
3. ClickFunnels: best SamCart alternative for a multi-step launch
Open the ClickFunnels review when the sale is a sequence of pages and the checkout has to live in that sequence. SamCart starts from the checkout. ClickFunnels starts from the funnel. Choose ClickFunnels if those launch steps matter as much as the cart.
Plan limits and the trial are in the ClickFunnels review. For those prices, use that review.
4. Kajabi: best SamCart alternative when the course is the product
Kajabi fits when the course and the membership are what buyers came for, and checkout is there to support them. SamCart's courses app is attached to the checkout. Kajabi is built from the course outward. I would pick it if you spend your week with students, and order bumps are a side task.
The Kajabi review covers the plans and the support complaints. Read it next to the Kartra review if you are choosing a course home with email, and the cart is secondary.
5. Leadpages: best SamCart alternative for the landing page alone
Leadpages publishes the page. You still take payment somewhere else. Read the Leadpages review if a landing page is the only piece you needed from SamCart, and you already have a way to charge the card.
Unbounce is the other page builder here, for teams that test headlines on paid traffic. That write-up is the Unbounce review. You would still need a separate checkout.
How we picked
Each tool above already has a review on this site. I picked each one because it answers a different reason people leave a checkout-first plan. Detailed prices stay in those reviews and on each vendor's pricing page. The SamCart side comes from SamCart's pricing page, the plans guide, and the public threads in the sources below.
The rubric is the one on how we evaluate tools. We read long-term user reports, the vendor's documentation and the vendor's pricing page. You can try SamCart yourself with the 7-day trial.
